OAKNOVA began with a simple frustration: the choice between fine jewelry priced for occasions and fashion jewelry that doesn't survive them. Gold-tone pieces plated over brass turn skin green and dull within months; solid gold asks four figures for a ring you'll wear to the grocery store. We wanted the piece in between — jewelry made honestly enough to wear every day, and priced honestly enough to actually do it.
Our designs borrow the language of classic high jewelry — clover motifs, pavé bands, sculpted links, clean watch dials — and strip away everything that makes it precious in the wrong way. Pieces within a family share proportions and finish, so a ring, a bracelet, and a necklace bought a year apart still read as one collection.

Every OAKNOVA piece starts as solid 925 sterling silver — hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and kind to sensitive skin in a way brass and zinc alloys never are. Onto that base we bond a thick layer of 18k gold: the warmth and depth of true 18k color, real resistance to tarnish, and a precious-metal core under the finish. It is the same principle that defines gold vermeil — never plating over base metal, always gold over silver.

Yes. The base metal is 925 sterling silver and the plating is 18k gold — both nickel-free. If your skin reacts to fashion jewelry plated over brass or zinc alloys, a sterling silver core is usually the difference that matters.
Orders are processed in 1–2 business days, and US orders typically arrive within 5–8 business days in total. US and Canada shipping is a flat $8, free on orders over $110.
